As a versatile multimedia professional with hands-on production experience in the studio and during live events, audience connection and excellence in communication are key. I bring strong skills in video shooting, editing, lighting, and audio, along with the ability to manage fast-paced, deadline-driven projects. My strengths are crafting broadcast-ready content, collaborating with newsroom teams, and adapting quickly to breaking news and changing production needs. Below are highlighted projects I created from concept to creation.

International Delegation Coverage
As a delegate representing Marquette, Michigan, I had the opportunity to report on the Sister City initiative for TV6. My coverage showcased the cultural, educational, and economic ties built across international communities. My goal was to make the connections relatable and meaningful for local viewers. It was an amazing experience to produce each segment and the series not only informed audiences but also sparked greater interest and pride in the region’s international outreach.

New Heights & Perspectives
At TV6, I’ve highlighted community hiring and training opportunities by covering programs for essential careers in the UP. In this segment, I highlight line technician training. My stories showcase the schools, trade programs, and hands-on training sites that focus on real-world skills and open doors to those who may not be aware of these opportunities. I also want the stories to be interactive so viewers have an idea of what is offered and bring excitement to possibilities.

Holiday Scam
During the November 2023 evening news, I produced a story about holiday scams. This is an important story, but it can also be anxious for some viewers. My work helped convey key warnings from law enforcement and experts, making the information accessible and actionable for viewers. By highlighting real examples and emphasizing preventative measures, I played an important role in helping the community stay vigilant during the holiday season.

Community Milestones
One of my favorite parts of sharing stories is highlighting upcoming events happening in the communities across the Upper Peninsula. In this morning segment, I produced the story of Peace Pie and the one year anniversary of the owners' successes. And of course we covered it on Pie Day: 3-14!
