Professional Experience Highlights
Finding Inspiration in Every Story!
There’s never a shortage of interesting people and events to cover, and stepping into the role of live reporter on the morning news team gave me the chance to expand our coverage and connect with a wider range of viewers. In my first year, we saw growth across several key demographics—including male audiences and viewers ages 25–35. Below are some of the standout stories I’ve reported over the past few years.

1
Morning News Anchor
When anchoring the news desk, I bring energy, clarity, and a steady on-air presence that helps viewers stay informed and confident in the information they’re receiving. I focus on delivering the news with credibility and consistency so audiences know WLUC-TV6 is their reliable, trusted news source, no matter the story.
2
Breaking News
When covering breaking news like the tragic house-explosion in Iron River and severe weather events, I deliver live, on-scene reporting that balances urgency with clarity, helping viewers understand what’s happening and what they need to do. My on-the-ground footage and real-time updates allow the audience to stay informed and connected through difficult, rapidly evolving situations.
3
Social Media Presence
Continued "Beyond Your Morning News" on Facebook was an exciting way to engage audiences with these live-feed segments. It gave viewers a more conversational, community-oriented experience — offering updates, interviews, and context in a more casual format. I now train and mentor up and coming talent to successfully demonstrate social media presence using the Digital Desk.
